The Drawing Room catches objects in the act of becoming. Drawings, material studies and earlier versions sit alongside finished works, leaving the distance between idea and object deliberately unresolved.
The Continuous Home is a digital work by Pietro Franceschini, conceived as an architectural world and ongoing testing ground for PF Studio. Composed of interconnected, atmospheric rooms, it provides a space in which new objects can be imagined and earlier works placed in new contexts. Its environments gradually drift towards subtle forms of unreality through unexpected materials, shifts in scale and spatial transitions.
Each room is developed around works from PF Studio’s collections, creating a direct relationship between object and interior. Thresholds are the project’s key visual and conceptual device: portals, corridors and framed openings connect the spaces into a continuous architectural sequence.
By placing existing pieces in new contexts, The Continuous Home extends their narratives. Each future work may give rise to another room, allowing the architecture to evolve as a potentially endless sequence.
